BACKSTORY: Discovering letters in every day outdoor objects has been a hobby since 1998, which 
is precisely what makes this personal project different from most photographic type studies. No shapes 
have been forced (e.g. open a pair of scissors et voila! an "X") nor cheated with croppings. Each of 
several hundred has been nabbed as is (In most cases without bracketing) within its natural environment. 
Select letterforms began appearing in global print publications as early as 2000. Though with any luck 
you'll one day spot my name in metal, plastic or fiber on the shelves of Barnes & Noble.
